Well. Ahem…. I kind of disappeared there for a while, didn’t I? <awkward blush>

I think I kind of lost my blogging mojo. I had plenty of things to say– I’d think up these fantastic blog posts I was going to write–but never at times when I could actually sit down and write them. Then when I had time I’d open the computer and….blank. Nothing. Extreme writers block. Everything else in my life that needed attention would be there–but not anything for blogging.

To say that I miss blogging is an understatement. Of course I still blog professionally, but that’s not what I mean. Blogging about deals is a nice job, but it isn’t quite the same as blogging about my hopes and dreams, my experiences, my failures, my faith and my life. It just isn’t the same. And I long to express those things more. I even find that when I’m taking time to write about my personal life, that my professional blogging not only gets better, it becomes more dynamic and takes on new life. The problem becomes that after a long abscence, it becomes harder and harder to get started again. What do I say? How do I explain where I’ve been? Why would anyone care? It’s probably even more daunting to re-start blogging than it was to start blogging in the first place.

So to kick myself in the rear, I’m signing on to a 30 Day Blogging Challenge. Every day for thirty days I’ll have a pre-assigned blogging task to accomplish. I don’t have to worry about what to write about–that’s already determined for me. I just answer the challenges daily. I’m hopeful this will kick my blogging mojo back into gear, and help me re-develop that inner voice that I loved so much!

If you’ve got a blog yourself, I encourage you to join in with me. If you don’t blog, why not do something similar via Facebook?
